St. Ai Villa is endowed with diverse ecological features and is guided by the principles of simplicity, nature, tranquility, and environmental protection. In addition to its religious and spiritual services, the villa undertook the operation of a daytime senior care center commissioned by the Taichung City Social Affairs Bureau in 2013. Since then, it has successively launched programs such as the Evergreen Joy Academy, Senior Learning Classroom, and Vitality Classroom. These initiatives offer a variety of multicultural courses, providing the elderly with a relaxed and enriching learning environment.

With declining birthrates and a rapidly aging population, the issue of elderly care has become a pressing concern in Taiwan. As the importance of elderly welfare services continues to rise, the concept of “aging in place” has become a shared goal pursued by government agencies and private welfare organizations alike.

Coinciding with the renovation and expansion of St. Ai Villa, our company has reevaluated the available space within the grounds. Drawing on the Sisters’ experience in providing medical services and operating the Evergreen Joy Academy, we aim to preserve the original ecological landscape while offering the elderly a supportive environment for both daytime care and lifelong learning—contributing to the broader goals of national social welfare.

Through the implementation of this feasibility study, we seek to re-examine and refine the positioning, functions, and scale of St. Ai Villa from the perspective of industrial and market viability. With a sustainable operation and management plan, the villa aspires to become a paradise for the elderly—achieving environmental sustainability while embodying the core vision of enhancing human well-being.
