In response to issues related to global environmental change, cultivating professional research talents in Taiwan, protecting Taiwan’s living environment and global sustainable development, the new construction of the Environmental Change Research Building of the Academia Sinica is underway. This case takes into account the physical environment of the base, ecological resources, and the spatial texture of the Academia Sinica. At the same time, it considers the special equipment requirements of the laboratory and the aesthetics of the architectural appearance, as well as the interaction between people and the environment. The four user units of the hospital are stationed; the space functions include experimental space, research space, administrative office, lecture hall and service space, etc.
